The Divisions Select box (5) has each division that you made to the passage. You can listen to each division separately in its corresponding circle player (5a). To the right of the circle players are two buttons. If you recorded a note when you were translating, there will be a headphones button (5b). As you can see above, there was a note recorded on division one. There is also a Re-Record button listed next to each passage (5c).

We’ll talk about how to put all of your cuts back together by resetting a passage (6) below. If you change your mind and do not want to re-record, you can hit Submit (7) and it will bring you back to the Passage Review page without any changes made.

Re-Recording a Divided Passage:

After you click Re-Record on the Passage Review page on a passage that you divided, you can re-record any or all individual divisions.

Click on the Re-Record button corresponding to the division you would like to re-record. You are brought to the Record page for the division you selected.

This will look very similar to the first time you recorded. You will notice that your previously recorded and selected translation is now loaded in the left recorder.

Steps of re-recording a divided passage:

1. Listen to the source and your previous translation as much as you feel necessary.

2. Press the yellow record button and speak your translation into your microphone.

3. Press stop.

4. Press the yellow play button to listen to your new translation. You can scrub (move) backward if you need to re-listen to a part, but you will not be able to scrub forward until you listen to your entire translation.

5. If you would like to record again, decide which translation you would like to erase. Click the Delete button.

6. You will now have a yellow record button. Follow steps one through four above until you have a translation you would like to submit.

7. You now have two translations to choose from. Pick the translation that you like best by pressing one of the yellow checkboxes. If you change your mind, simply touch the other checkbox. You will now have a bright blue checkbox and the Submit button will be yellow.

Note: If you decide you want to keep your old translation, click Cancel.

8. To save your new translation, click Submit.

Continue to press the Re-Record button next to all of the divisions you would like to re-record. When you are satisfied with your changes, click Submit on the Division Select page and it will bring you to the Passage Review
page.
