Now that you understand more about the resources from the community, let’s walk through the steps of Community Revise:

Steps of Community Revise:

1. Click on a yellow headphones button next to Passage 1.

2. You will now be given a popup with all of the community’s work along with a recorder. It will look similar to this. This sample project (below) had three rounds of Community Check with both Retell and Q&R portions.

3. Initially, you have to listen to all of the community’s retells. The first community’s retell is automatically selected. Press the yellow Play button.

4. If there is more than one community, press the yellow tabs and listen to the other retells.

5. Now you can listen to the questions and responses and any applicable notes. Press the yellow Play buttons on the circle players.

6. Scroll down as needed to listen to all of the Q&Rs and notes.

7. If there is more than one community, press the yellow tabs and listen to the other community's Q&Rs and any applicable notes within that tab.

8. When you are done listening to every yellow Play button, you will see a yellow Re-record button.

At any time during this process you can record a note that will go to the Configure role. To record a note:
1. Click on the blue Record button.
2. Speak your note into a microphone attached to your device.
3. Press Stop.
4. You now have some options for your note. You can:
    a. Add to your note by pressing the Append button.
    b. Play your note by pressing the Play button.
    c. Delete a part of your note by selecting it (clicking on the waveform) and pressing the Delete button.
5. When you are happy with your note, click Submit to save your note. If you hit Re-Record, your note will also be saved. If you do not want to submit your note, click Cancel. Alternatively, delete each part of your note and hit Submit.

There may be times when you want to re-record a passage based on the feedback from the community. If you did not make any cuts (divisions) to your passage when you first translated, re-recording will look very similar to the translate process. If you did make cuts, it will look a little different. To re-record in either case, follow the steps in the links below:

Once you have listened to all of the resources from the community and have re-recorded and recorded notes as need be, you will have a yellow Finished button on the Select page. When you are done working on the set, click Finished.
