After you have submitted your re-recording of a passage or clicked Finished on the Divisions Select page, you are brought to the Passage Review page.

1. Home button
2. Set title listen
3. Note button
4. Translation audio circle player
5. Reference Audio circle player
6. Pass button
7. Re-Record button

As on the other pages in the translate roles, you can go back to your Home page by clicking the Home button (1). You can also listen to the Set Title (2) on this page. You can see the note from the consultant as well as your response by pressing the Note button (3).

There are two circle players on this page. The circle player on the left (4) (Madi Okollo in this case) is the translation that you just created. If you used the Divide feature to make a cut, the left player will have all of your the cuts put together. The circle player on the right (5) (NIV in this case) is the audio that you used as a source for your translation. After reviewing the passages, you will decide to either pass (6) or re-record (7) your translation.

Steps of Passage Review

1. Listen to one of the circle players in its entirety.

2. Listen to the other circle player in its entirety.

Note: After listening to both players, you can play and pause the translation and source players intermittently.

If you feel there is something you would like the Consultant to know about your translation, click on the Note button and record your comments.

After you have listened to your translation alongside the source, you need to make a decision.

3. You can either:

    • Pass your translation.

• Re-Record your translation.

If you pass your translation, you will be brought back to the Select page. Continue listening to all notes from the consultant on every passage, recording notes and re-recording as needed.

If you click Re-Record, you will be brought back to the Record page to revise your translation. Follow the same steps here to
re-record your passage or divisions.

Once you complete Passage Review, you will now be at the Set Review page. This gives you an opportunity to hear any changes to passages with the entire set. Decide to Pass or Re-Record and make more changes to the set.

After you pass the set, if there are more sets with notes from the consultant, you will be brought to the next Select page for that set. If you are finished with all sets in Consultant Revise, you will be brought back to your Home page.

Once you have listened to all of the notes from the consultant and either responded with a note or re-recorded, you will have a yellow Finished button on the Select page. When you are done working on the set, click Finished.

Set Review

Once you press Finished, if your set has more than one passage and you made a change to one or more of the passages, you will be brought to the Set Review page. This page is similar to the Passage Review page; however this circle player contains all passages put together.

The circle player has the title “Madi Okollo,” which in this case means that it is the receptor language recording, the translation that you have just completed. The circle player has every passage put together in order.

Steps of Set Review

1. Click on the yellow Play button to listen to your translation. You can scrub (move) backward if you need to re-listen to a part, but you will not be able to scrub forward until you listen to your entire translation.

2. Play as many times as needed to review the set.

3. You need to decide if you are satisfied with your translation or if you want to make changes. You can either:

    • Pass your translation and send it back to the consultant.

    • Re-Record your translation before sending it to the consultant.

If you want to make another change to one or more passages or divisions, click the Re-Record button and you will be brought back to the Select page to make your changes. If you click Pass, if there are more sets from the consultant to review, you will be brought to the next set. If you are finished with all of the current sets in Consultant Revise, you will be brought back to your Home page.
