Since Render version 2.2, users with the Configure or Observe role have been able to export draft audio files to their computer from a Render project. Since version 2.3, users have been able to export approved audio files from their project. Here's how you can export audio from one of these user roles.

After you log in to your user with the Configure or Observe role, select the "Sets" page.

Then, select the set that you would like to export, and select "Review".

Audio Export Tab

After a set has been drafted for the first time, the Audio Export feature is available for each set. When you click on the "Audio Export" icon on the right side of the sets page, a tab will show up, allowing you to select any submitted draft or any submitted note for the set, including the approved audio for a completed set. The tab will look like this:

  1. List of submitted drafts
  2. List of submitted notes
  3. Select All
  4. Deselect All
  5. Export Selected
  6. Hide Tab

In this tab, select all of the drafts and notes you wish to export. Drafts are named by the latest stage in the translation process that draft made it to (for example - if the first submitted draft makes it through Peer Revise and Community Revise without any changes, that will be considered Consultant Check (Draft 1).)

To select all of the drafts, click on the "Select All" button on the right side of the list of submitted drafts. To deselect all drafts, click on the "Deselect All" button to the right of the list of submitted drafts. The functionality is the same for selecting and deselecting all notes.

When you have selected all the audio you would like to export, click on the "Export Selected" button. You will be prompted to select a destination for the audio files to be saved, and then the files will be exported as MP3's to your selected destination.

The tab can be hidden at any time by either selecting the export icon again or by selecting the "Hide Tab" button in the bottom right corner.
