Render allows any user with the Configure or Observe role to record a note to the translation team working on a set. This is just called an "Observe Note" and can contain any information you want the team to listen to before drafting or revising.


1. First, go into SETS:


2. Choose the set you want to work on and click Review.


3. Now you can add your "Observe Note" to this set. This can be done using this recording box:


4. Simply press the record button, record your note, and press stop. Use the append (+), play, delete, and undo buttons as needed to edit your note.


5. After you record your note, press "Submit" to send that note to the translation team working on the set. You can always listen to your observe notes on the headphones on the right side of the page.


The next time the team goes to draft or revise this set, they will have to listen to this note before they proceed to the drafting or revise step, no matter how much work has been done on the set. It will look like this:

Once they get to the Record page, they can listen to your notes again on the headphones on the right side of the page:
