1. Render 3 Introduction

Here is an instructional video about how Render works: https://vimeo.com/1158570053?share=copy

2. Target End Users

Render 3 was designed to facilitate Oral Bible Translation for those minority-language communities without experience in mother-tongue literacy or computers. They are also largely without ubiquitous internet connection in their homelands.

3. Designed for the End User

With these end users in mind, Render was designed to leverage touchscreen Windows-based laptops and tablets along with icons and colors as the primary means for operating the software. Additionally, it is designed to work primarily offline with local (LAN) synchronization, and occasionally online for global (Web) synchronization among distributed translation teams.

4. Designed for Trustworthy and Frequent Scripture production

Faith Comes By Hearing collaborated with trusted Bible translation organizations and practitioners to design Render to facilitate a best-practice methodology of oral Bible translation which could also achieve the goal of "publish early, publish often." Render accommodates a variety of workflow implementations while prioritizing quality and publishing approved scripture in small sections which allows for it to be shared with the community early and often during the translation project.
