Consultant Approval is the final stage in the Render workflow. The purpose is either to give final approval to a section, or to send it directly back to the translation team if the section requires a revision.
To begin Consultant Approval, select the icon from the Project Home.
Consultant Approval: Section Select
The Section Select screen shows all passages that are available for approval. The example above shows only one section (section 1) is available. Select a section to open it.
Consultant Approval: Section Listen
On the Section Listen page, you can listen to the draft of the section and to any back-translations before either approving the section or returning it.
1. Play Passage Back Translation: if available, select to listen to the passage back-translation (this is dependent on settings in your workflow; please see Configure Workflow - Settings for Stages)
2. Play Segment Back Translation: if available, select to listen to the segment back-translation (this is also dependent on settings in your workflow)
3. Return: this option returns the section to the translation team if you choose not to approve it. If selected, a popup will open requesting your password (see below).
4. Play: select to listen to the draft of the section.
5. Approve: select to approve the section. A popup will open requesting your password (see below).
Password Popup
Since Consultant Approval is the final step in the workflow, it requires a password verification to confirm you want to take the action you selected (either Return or Approve). The above popup requires that you enter your user password.
1. Close: select to close the popup without taking any action.
2. Password textbox: select inside the textbox to input your user password.
3. Cancel: select to close the popup without taking any action.
4. Confirm: select to confirm your action after typing your password into the textbox (2).
Approval Confirmation
If you selected "Approve" and confirmed that choice by inputting your password into the popup, then a final confirmation window will appear. Select "Ok" to return to your Project Home.
