Render 3 automatically divides your passage into segments for the segment back translation. If a segment is too small, you can combine it with another segment using the Segment Combine tool.
You can access the Segment Combine tool from the Segment Back Translate screen by selecting the 
icon.
Combining Segments
1. Active segment: this is the segment you can currently add to. All other segments are greyed out.
2. Locked/completed segment: segments that have already been back translated show a red lock symbol. You CAN combine them with the active segment but the prior work for that segment will be lost.
3. Segment available to combine: the segments immediately next to the active segment can be combined with the active segment by selecting the + symbol. Once combined, it becomes part of the active segment and the + symbol moves to the next available segment.
4. Play: allows you to listen to the audio for each segment.
5. Remove last combine: select to cancel the most recent selected combination of segment(s) to the active segment.
6. Next: returns to the Segment Back Translate screen to record the back translation for the active segment.
